Frequently Asked Questions
Key tags are made from a strong, durable and waterproof material. Each key tag details a unique 7-digit number which is assigned to a property during the registration process. Each key tag is 100% anonymous so you can safely attach it your bunch of keys without identifying yourself or your property. Members who lose their keys have a 90% chance of having them returned due to the £10 reward.
If you don’t hold a current KeyAngel membership, please register now by choosing one of the options listed here and we will post your key tags the same day. If you’re an existing member, you can request additional key tags by logging in to your account here and clicking the “Upgrade” link under the “Subscriptions” menu. Alternatively, call us on 0800 001 4495 and we will assist you…

When the finder of your keys contacts us, we will send you a text message and follow up with a phone call. You will be given their name, number and a password of their choice. You call the finder and arrange to meet so that your keys can be returned safely and promptly. Please follow the safety guidelines detailed below to ensure that you are aware of any potential risk, prior to meeting up with a finder. Safety Guidelines: You should only agree to meet in a public area (see below for suggestions) Where possible, only arrange a meeting if you can be accompanied by a friend. Do not give out any personally identifying details, as they may hold a copy of your keys. Tell them the password and collect your keys. Public Places: Police station, supermarket, shop, large store, pub, restaurant, cafe, hospital, library, art gallery, museum, 24-hour petrol station etc.
